Next Generation C++Builder Unveiled!
Happy Columbus Day everyone!
I just received word that C++Builder 2006 has been officially announced on the Borland website!! And, if you peruse the site enough, you'll discover that C++Builder, Delphi, and C# will all be made all avaiblle in one IDE identified as Borland Developer Studio. In fact, it's a 3 for 1 deal. If you want C++Builder, you'll also get get Delphi and C#. If you want Delphi you get C++Builder and C#. Here's what the FAQ says...
"To make it easier for existing customers to find, we are selling the studio under the traditional Delphi®, C++Builder®, and C#Builder® brands for this release – no matter which of these you buy, you’ll get the same complete studio, the same capabilities, at the same price."
Also, there's a must download demo to be watched from bdn that provides an 11 minute overview of this next generation C++Builder personality within the Borland Developer Studio environment. There are lots of great new features.
No signs yet at the Borland store though of its availability. We can only hope it’s soon.
