SimVentions Sponsors Dahlgren Heritage Museum

Fredericksburg, VA., 7-10-2020: SimVentions is excited to announce a sponsorship with the Dahlgren Heritage Museum. The museum shares the stories that have made Dahlgren a crown jewel of national defense.

President of the Dahlgren Heritage Foundation, Ed Jones, said, “The research and innovation that have gone into weapons development for almost a century are a key part of the story. Beyond the technical achievements are the intellectual heritage and social history of the base. From technical directors like Russell Lyddane to mathematicians like Charles Cohen, Dahlgren has earned a reputation as an intellectual center for the Navy. At the same time, Dahlgren has created a social community, both inside and outside the gates, that has nurtured “small town” values that so many have cherished.”

SimV CEO, Larry Root, said, “The Dahlgren Heritage Museum is such a great organization that shows the positive influence the Dahlgren base and our community has on our country’s military. We love this community, and it has been great to see the community come together and support one another during these difficult times. We feel blessed that we are able to support the Dahlgren Heritage Museum as they continue to share this area’s history with others.”
