SimVentions recently held a “Day of Service to Others”. In King George, volunteers helped Project Faith. In Fredericksburg, at the Thurman Brisben Homeless Shelter, a group helped to prepare, serve, and clean up after lunch. Another group worked on light carpentry and landscaping projects for Hope House. Meanwhile, over at the Massaponax Goodwill building, volunteers unloaded, sorted and logged-in pallet-after-pallet of donations. Lastly, SimV volunteers helped with Starbucks’ Project Dominic outreach effort. Even the lunch SimVentions served to all of their 74 volunteers, helped others, as they provided the meals via the 2015 Tanzania Medical Mission’s program “Buy a Sub – Support a Cause.”
