SimVentions Named 2019 Stafford Business of the Year!

Stafford, VA., 5-16-2019: SimVentions was honored to have been named the 2019 Stafford Business of the Year by the Stafford Economic Development Authority (EDA) at its 2019 Business Appreciation Event held at 6 Bears & A Goat Brewery, on 15 May 2019! The Stafford EDA gathers each year to thank and honor those leading in the business community, with this year themed as, “What’s Next? Stafford.”

Since its inception in 2000, by its three founders, SimVentions has delivered consistent and exceptional quality products and solutions to our many customers. We have also established deep roots in our community as we not only strive to emphasize our commitment to technical excellence in our work, but our commitment to serving our community as well. We believe it is an honor and a responsibility to use our resources and talents to serve in both the business and public sectors. Today, we have over 270 employees across our three offices and other shared work locations. In the last 12 months alone, our awesome workforce has been involved in Special Olympics; Rise Against Hunger; SimVentions Annual Service Day, which sends our employees out into our local community to work alongside ministries such as Micah Ministries, Fredericksburg Food Bank, SPCA, Goodwill, and others; and, many other activities that demonstrate our passion about serving.

President/CEO and Co-founder, Larry Root, said, “There are three ‘shout-outs’ I would like to give:

  • First, to the ‘Hand of Providence’ for guiding the growth and success of this company for 19 years now. Benjamin Franklin put it this way as he made a request for prayer during the Constitutional Convention in July 1787 – “I have lived, Sir, a long time, and the longer I live, the more convincing proofs I see of this truth – that God Governs in the affairs of men. And if a sparrow cannot fall to the ground without his notice, is it probable that an empire can rise without his aid?” We certainly feel that way regarding SimVentions!
  • Second, to our highly talented and gifted employees, as it is their gifts, talents, drive for excellence, commitment to our core values, and living out our corporate motto, “Your Success Is Our Honor™,” that has truly made SimVentions what it is today and what it will become tomorrow!
  • Third, to Stafford County’s Board of Supervisors and their entire Economic Development Team – for the amazing job they do in ensuring that Stafford is and remains business friendly and a great place to live, work, raise a family, and retire!
