King George, VA., 8-5-2021: SimVentions is honored to announce the opening of their new office in King George, VA. The morning started with Susan Spears from the Fredericksburg Regional Chamber of Commerce giving a warm welcome to everyone there. She then introduced Congressman Rob Wittman, who spoke about his long-term familiarity and appreciation for SimVentions contributions to innovation and national defense. Congressman Wittman introduced King George Supervisor, Jeff Stonehill, who recognized Annie Cupka and Nick Minor for their contributions to the growth and economic development of the region
Larry Root (CEO), Joe Caliri (President), and Megan Shepherd (COO), all spoke on behalf of SimVentions. Larry talked about the historical significance of where our building lies and SimVentions commitment to their mission, purpose, and vision. Joe thanked the teams responsible for today’s celebration, all the great SimV employees who enabled the opportunity to open this office, highlighted the SimV Culture, and introduced Megan Shepherd. Megan ended the ceremony by talking about the technical support we provide our customers across every Department at Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Dahlgren and about the strong relationships SimVentions has built with their customers and teammates. Those that spoke all cut the ribbon together then everyone went upstairs to the SimVentions suite for lunch and cake.
