SimV Announces Strategic Restructuring and Leadership Changes to Drive Continued Growth

Fredericksburg, VA, 01-09-2024– SimV, a leading provider of innovative solutions for defense and cybersecurity, proudly announces a significant milestone in its evolution with a strategic restructuring of its operations groups and key leadership changes that became effective January 1, 2024.

The Asymmetric Strike Group (ASG), under the leadership of Group Vice President (GVP) Jason Doering, have served the warfighters with exceptional products and support over the past decade.  This resulted in substantial growth driving the need to restructure.  As part of the restructure, the Asymmetric Strike Group (ASG) evolved into the Strike Missions Group (SMG) under the continued leadership of Mr. Doering. He will continue his focus on strike warfare, anti-terrorism/force protection (AT/FP), and strategic weapons system projects while also exploring opportunities for SMG’s expansion into adjacent markets.

Over the last year, the Cybersecurity Engineering Group (CSG), under John Lysher’s leadership as GVP, added new work supporting that also drove the restructure.  As such and aligned with SimV’s focus on innovation and integrated solutions, the new Extensible and Integrated Systems Group (XSG) was created to optimize resources and deliver outstanding products and support to existing and prospective clients. XSG is a fusion of expertise from two distinct groups. Mr. Lysher assumed the role of Group Vice President (GVP) for this newly formed group and will provide leadership, management, and vision for SimV’s work with Asymmetric, Autonomous Systems, and Integrated System Technologies.

With the transition of Mr. Lysher to the XSG GVP, Jason Rachanow, an invaluable member of the SimV team since 2009, was elevated to the position of the Cybersecurity Engineering Group (CSG) Vice President. Mr. Rachanow’s primary focus continues to be a critical cybersecurity solutions provider to SimV’s current customers, as well as expanding cybersecurity capabilities, emphasizing flawless execution, and exploring opportunities beyond the Department of Defense.

SimV extends heartfelt congratulations to Mr. Rachanow on his well-deserved promotion, anticipating his continued success in leading the CSG to new heights. The company also congratulates Mr. Doering, SMG, and Mr. Lysher, XSG, for their exceptional contributions that paved the way for these transformative changes. SimV appreciates their dedication and leadership, acknowledging the significant impact they continue to make on the company’s evolution.
