Fredericksburg, VA, 12/10/2025: SimVentions is pleased to announce its award on the Scalable Homeland Innovative Enterprise Layered Defense (SHIELD) contract with the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) in support of national defense objectives by ensuring continuous, layered protection against air, missiles, space, cyber, and hybrid threats originating from any vector – land, sea, air, space, or cyberspace. SHIELD is a multiple award Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract that enables SimVentions to expand its innovative and transformative engineering services across the Department of Defense (DOD) in the research and development domain and the technical and engineering domain.
The SHIELD IDIQ enables rapid delivery of innovative, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML)-enabled, digitally engineered capabilities for both classified and unclassified programs. The ten-year contract vehicle carries an anticipated maximum value of $151 billion and spans multiple NAICS codes and contract types.
