Fredericksburg, VA, 12/17/2025: SimVentions is proud to announce the launch of a new rapid prototyping facility within its Extensible and Integrated Systems Group (XSG). This capability supports the company’s mission to innovate by enabling teams to rapidly transform digital designs into tangible, high-quality products.
The addition of this facility marks a significant enhancement to SimVentions’ ability to develop advanced solutions for both current and future customers. Through expanded Three Dimensional (3D) printing and rapid fabrication capabilities, the company is strengthening strategic partnerships and accelerating the delivery of innovative technologies.

The facility features a growing suite of 3D printers with substantial room for expansion as utilization increases. It is further equipped with soldering stations, an air purification system, and dedicated assembly areas designed to support mechanical assembly, electrical integration, and design testing activities. These resources enable SimVentions to efficiently address complex design challenges and produce functional prototypes at an accelerated pace.
With the capacity for low-rate production—ranging from one to 200 units, measuring up to four feet by four feet in size—the facility provides SimVentions with increased flexibility in delivering custom solutions. Combined with enhanced support for software and control system development, this new capability positions the company to more quickly and effectively meet the evolving needs of its customers.
