As part of the inaugural class of recognized employers, SimVentions is being honored for its commitment to providing high-quality, paid internship opportunities that support student development and strengthen Virginia’s future workforce.
SimVentions was selected alongside employers from across the Commonwealth that demonstrate a strong commitment to creating meaningful internship experiences that benefit both students and organizations. Honorees were recognized during the Virginia Chamber of Commerce’s Virginia Education and Workforce Conference in Richmond.
SimVentions launched its internship program in 2003 and has since welcomed 155 unique interns. Since then, a number of former interns have gone on to join SimVentions in full-time roles, including employees who have grown into leadership positions. This demonstrates the program’s lasting impact as both a developmental opportunity for students and a pathway for future talent.
Through hands-on experiences, mentorship, and exposure to meaningful work, SimVentions interns have the opportunity to build career-ready skills while learning more about careers in the defense and technology industries. The program reflects SimVentions’ continued commitment to developing future talent and contributing to a strong workforce pipeline in Virginia.
